Choosing the right commercial fryers
Use these checks to compare suitable models. Confirm the exact specification, included equipment and installation requirements before you order.
2. Choose tank and basket layout
Consider separate products, temperatures and your kitchen’s allergen procedures. A twin-basket single tank shares oil; it is not the same arrangement as two separate tanks.
3. Check fuel, power and extraction
Confirm the exact electrical connection or gas type and the installation requirements with your installer. Measure the fryer, working clearance and delivery route.
4. Plan draining and cleaning
Check drain position, access, oil handling and any supplied filtration equipment. Read the maintenance instructions and confirm what baskets or stands are included.
Questions before you order?
Is a twin-basket fryer the same as a twin-tank fryer?
No. Two baskets may share one tank of oil. Check the exact tank layout and controls.
Does a larger oil capacity guarantee more output?
No. Compare output and recovery information for the exact model and task, alongside usable basket capacity.
Can I put a pressure fryer straight into a normal frying setup?
Confirm the specific machine’s operating, training and installation requirements before choosing. Do not assume it can be used in the same way as an open fryer.
