ASSET LEASING AND BUSINESS EQUIPMENT FINANCING EXPLAINED
Equipment finance is typically provided by way of a leasing agreement or Hire Purchase facility. This enables you and your business to invest in vital equipment, with the cost of the investment made more affordable through monthly or quarterly payments appropriate to the asset type and needs of your business.
What is Hire Purchase?
Hire Purchase is a form of finance that can be used to buy new or used equipment. You essentially hire the asset over the contract period and, once the facility has been paid off, you are the legal owner of the asset.
Benefits of Hire Purchase:
- Rather than one large sum, you can spread the cost over a 2 to 5 year period.
- It makes larger and more expensive assets more affordable to the business.
- You can choose a fixed term and deposit that suits your business.
- As the hire purchaser, you will own the asset after paying the option-to-purchase fee.
- There are usually no tax charges on Hire Purchase agreements.
- Hire Purchase may be paid off early, depending on the customer and agreement.
Things to be mindful of:
- Asset depreciation.
- Non-payment could negatively affect the credit rating of the business and guarantor, and could result in the asset being repossessed.
What is a Finance Lease?
A Finance Lease enables a business to acquire the assets it needs without buying the asset outright.
Benefits of Leasing:
- Finance leases offer flexibility in terms of agreement length, rental repayment profile and end-of-lease options.
- Unlike making an outright purchase, you retain cash within your business.
- A fixed lease repayment profile makes it easier to budget for the lifetime of the asset.
- Potential tax advantages.
- Access to modern equipment can help your business remain efficient and competitive.
- Fast turnaround times may be available.
- At the end of the lease period, you may be able to continue using the asset for a nominal payment or upgrade the equipment with another lease.
Things to be mindful of:
- The agreement is secured against the asset.
- Non-payment could negatively affect the credit rating of the business and guarantor.
This quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After this date, the quote will expire and a new application will be required. Rates and terms are subject to change and cannot be guaranteed beyond the validity period.

Falcon Dominator Single Pan, Twin Basket Fryer with Filtration & Oil Level Sensor E3840FX
A key feature of the Dominator Plus E3840FX twin basket fryer is the in-built filtration that offers savings in terms of time and money through extended oil life. With high output and fast recovery time, the E3840F ensures that you can cope with the busiest service periods. Chip capacity is 58kg per hour and the pan holds 20 litres of oil. It also features patented Falcon Fryer Angel technology which prevents fryer fires.
The Falcon Angel Fryer oil level sensor is a unique safety sensor that prevents fryer fires and flare-ups caused by low or no oil. The sensor monitors oil level in the pan and alerts the operator when oil levels are low. If oil continues to drop to a potentially dangerous level the sensor cuts power to the fryer, with the fryer disabled until oil is replenished. The unit will also be disabled if there is no oil in the pan and the operator tries to switch it on.
The unit is supplied with everything required to fry and filter, including fish grid, 2 baskets, lid, drain bucket, mesh filter and metal strainer. The E3840FX is supplied on feet as standard. Accessories include castors and sidescreens.
